1. Go “Boo” another family with treats without getting caught.
2. Take a treat with a poem to a neighbor or to someone in the community. Find more poem ideas here.
3. “Spook” someone by doing acts of kindness around the house. (See You’ve Been “Spooked” link)
4. Read not so scary Halloween books and sing with small children. Ex: The Itsy-Bitsy Spider.
5. Outline your body in chalk on a driveway. Write don’t forget some “Body” loves you! Add caution tape around the scene.
6. Dress up in a costume and deliver Candy Grams (notes with candy) to people.
7. Go to an animal rescue shelter to play with the cats and bring the dogs bone treats or take some dogs on a walk.
8. Tape ghost cutouts on someone’s door with positive cute messages and say “you’ve been ghosted.”
9. Call someone that is like a Mummy (mom) to you to tell them you admire them.
10. Write letters to people to help lift their spirits.
11. Host a murder mystery dinner and game night with classmates you want to get to know.
12. Put on a Halloween carnival or organize a Trunk and Treat for the neighborhood kids and their friends.
13. Go to a pumpkin patch or corn maze. Invite someone quieter or new and get to know them better.

15. Rake leaves for your neighbors and place them in pumpkin garbage bags on their lawn.
16. Take fall treats to your community firefighters and police officers.
17. Do something nice for the little monsters in your house. (Siblings)
18. Host a rummage sale and donate $ to charity. Make a costume from the donated clothes with friends to help sell items.
19. Take some apple cider and/or donuts to a friend who is feeling down.
20. Donate blood.
21. Dress up in a Halloween costume and deliver Candy Grams (notes with candy) to friends or a retirement community.
