I recently volunteered in my community for a couple hours at a church that brought in a replica of the traveling Tabernacle for a few weeks that is similar to the one in the Old Testament. I was in awe that so many people from all different backgrounds came to experience this traveling Tabernacle. I was in charge of showing individuals that came a movie about what they were about to see. Everyone was so appreciative that I helped them. I later experienced the Tabernacle for myself and saw many youth also volunteering and testifying of their love for Christ and how He has affected their life. I was wondering why the teens wanted to serve and I think it was because they liked the feeling they get when they helped others and wanted to follow Christ's example. I think they felt good to honor His life and share with others their belief about Christ’s ministry. I felt as I served and watched others serve that day that I could feel a real love there that brings peace to the people I was surrounded by. To continue to feel this love, I want to keep serving and help others. We all can have the peace I felt that day by serving and being served and you can too! Let’s serve!
